/Friendship Program

The Stride Art Gallery Association is grateful to its many Friends for their support of the gallery. This crucial support helps us to provide excellent professional development opportunities to contemporary Canadian artists, and play a significant role in Calgary’s vibrant arts and culture community.

With your donation of $20 (or $10 for students), you will receive a year-long Friendship with Stride, which includes invitations to our exhibitions and special events, access to our archives and resources, and special notices about what’s happening here at the gallery.  We’re always working to develop meaningful ways to thank our Friends for their support.  Please contact the gallery for more information on how to reap the rewards of a Friendship with Stride.

To become a Friend of Stride, simply download and complete the form available here and return it to the gallery with your contribution. You can also submit your $10 (Students) or $20 (Regular) Friendship contribution by clicking on the Canada Helps icon below and selecting the applicable “Friendship Purchase” from the drop down Fund/Designation menu.  If you process the payment online, please be sure to include your name in the message box, and send your completed Friendship form to the gallery as soon as possible.

/DONATIONS

Donations in any dollar amount are gratefully accepted at any time and go directly towards the gallery’s programming operations.  This kind of financial support has the added benefit of helping us demonstrate our community’s investment in Stride’s programming for our funders and other partners.

If you wish, you can dedicate your donation to a specific area of our operations.  To learn about opportunities to sponsor Stride’s programming or special events, please contact the gallery directly.

Donations can be made by cash or cheque (made out to Stride Gallery), or by credit card via CanadaHelps.org (link below).  Stride will issue a tax receipt for any contribution exceeding $20, tax receipts for donations processed online will be sent directly from CanadaHelps.org.

/SUSTAINED GIVING

Stride has recently developed the Sustained Giving Program as a way to let our more budget-conscious supporters make valuable contributions a little at a time.  Using the CanadaHelps.org interface, you can set up a regular donation of as little as $5 or $10 per month for as many months as you wish.  A small monthly donation of this nature will have a low impact on your pocketbook each month, but over the year it will add up to major support for Stride.  All funds received through the Sustained Giving Program will be directed to Stride’s programming budget.

Here’s how to do it:
Click the CanadaHelps.org link below to arrive at the donations page for Stride.
Enter your ideal donation amount and select “repeating donation” to indicate your preferred start and end dates.
From the drop down Fund/Designation menu, select “Sustained Giving Program.”
In the message box, tell us your name, and write us a little note, if you wish.  You can also dedicate your donation to someone special.
Click “Continue” to enter your credit card information and complete the transaction.
