Exhibition Information
For this upcoming exhibition, Koichi Kiyono installed mixed media works from his Breathing Chloroplast Series. These intriguing wall installations are based on the existence of Vegetation and Plant Life, which he sees as gently supporting our biological lives by providing oxygen and other necessary provisions for our survival.
artist bio
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Koichi Kiyono is presently working towards his MFA at the University of Calgary. Originally trained as a printmaker, his works have been included in many exhibitions worldwide including Japan, Europe, Canada and the United States.
