EXHIBITION INFORMATION

Miriam’s practice obsesses about the elasticity and buildup of painted surfaces. Using the off cuts from her poured paint flows, the ribbon-like strips of dried house paint are then carefully rolled to form snail-like spirals. The treatment of the paint adds a truly sculptural dimension as spirals of varied sizes mound on top of one another, creating a sensuous surface.
