EXHIBITION INFORMATION

Luba Diduch’s installation in the Stride Gallery window, BABA YAGA, THE WITCH is based on her memory of the childhood tale of the horrible witch that ate small children in the woods. This Slavic folk tale was told to children to keep them close to home, installing in them fear of the forest and of the unknown. Diduch’s installation/website is her way of reconstructing the story in terms of physical, spiritual, mental and creative growth
