Claudia will be in residence from July 7th to October 3rd.

Claudia Chagoya is a Mexican interdisciplinary artist from Zacatecas, based in Mohkinstsis (Calgary, Canada). She holds an MFA from the University of Calgary and a BFA from Instituto Allende.Her practice explores gender violence and socio-political themes through ritual-based processes using textiles, salt, rose petals, and human hair.
