Dear Friends and Supporters,

Although we miss you all dearly, Stride Gallery will not reopen by May 14. The health of our staff, artists and community is our highest priority. Even though the art galleries and museums are included in the Stage 1 of the province’s reopening plans, we would like to proceed slowly in order to ensure that our artists are given proper care, and that the staff and the members of our community are welcomed back into our space in a safe and responsible way. 

In the meantime, please stay tuned for our interim programming this summer, as we consider different platforms to present and engage with art practices. Thank you everyone for staying resilient during this challenging time. We need art more than ever. We are here to respond to the shifting needs of our community, as we reimagine ways to support artistic practices and foster meaningful engagement. Until then, stay safe and well.
