EXHIBITION INFORMATION

Sue Dondlinger’s work involves the fragmentation and reconstruction of images, using systematic processes, and everyday materials like photographs, CD’s, paint, wire, or glittery stickers. Her work plays on notions of perception, reflecting her belief that our conception of the world is reconstructed from the fragments that make up individual and accumulated experiences. For her project, Dondlinger created a netted, wire box assemblage containing fragmented images of an abstract landscape floating magically within a dense black.
