Stride Gallery invites you to PARALLEL TWIN, a spring fundraiser event. We’re celebrating Stride’s expansion into a double unit with matching everything! Attendees are encouraged come dressed matching their friends for a great double-vision dance party. There will be prizes for the best twins! We’ve also got an abundance of other treats up for grabs to raise much needed funds for the gallery. All proceeds from this event will go to support Stride’s programming. The date is set for Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 8pm onwards, so mark your calendars! We’d love to have you join us for the fun!

And don’t miss a special feature screening of MONDO LIMBO MAYO MAYO (1988) by JOHN WILL! This film is an in-depth investigation into the dual world of identical twins who are interviewed by a leading talk show host. The show is unexpectedly interrupted by the appearance of St John the Divine (author of the Book of Revelations) who triggers bouts of outright sublime ecstasy. Music by Calgary band Bible Outrage.
